The origins of Casale Baldelli date back to the 1700s, when the property belonged to Duke Ascanio della Corgna, one of the most influential noble families connected to the history of Lake Trasimeno and central Italy.

Over time, the estate was entrusted to Perugian merchants and became an important resting place along the historic trade routes between Umbria and Tuscany.

Located in a strategic border territory, Casale Baldelli welcomed travelers, merchants and horsemen moving toward the commercial destinations of Val d’Orcia and Valdichiana regions that today remain among the most celebrated landscapes in Italy.
